Your right about that. SOP to inventory tools at end of any maintenance on
an airplane. Job wasn't done until all tools were accounted for. Loose
tools can cause havoc either from lodging where they can cause trouble or
smashing into things while pulling G's.

Heard stories about that happening and saw videos of turbine engines that
had wrenches dropped into them. Lots of expensive sparks come out the back.
