[lro] Pertronix and Lucas 45D4

I've installed the Pertronix into my Lucas 45D4 distributor. It went in
easily except I can't get the rotor to go on over the round,
plastic/magnetic adapter that goes over the distributor cam. There isn't
enough of the distributor shaft left to attach the rotor to.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone out there with the Lucas 45D4/Pertronix
set-up?
