The rating is always given assuming the cable is on the first wrap of the
drum. Rating decreases significantly for each additional wrap.

Capstans are always on the first wrap, a big advantage (deliberate pun).
Miss G with her hydraulic capstan had a good workout this weekend. At one
point pulling herself plus two j@@ps through 150 ft of freshly melted
Queenstone marl.
25 assorted LRs and others attended the April Fool's Errand under brilliant
sunshine and through deep mud and inpromptu spring stream crossings. A good
time was had by all.
