They are a 3/8" shank and fine thread so if they are SAE they must be
3/8"-24. My engine stand has 2-3/4" of metal for the bolt to pass through
before it even gets to the block so the little bolts that are in there
(1-1/8" ??) are not going to cut it. ;-)
