As a recent resident of said english country town....
It looks confusing, if you think about it it's confusing but once you see it
in action it works really well.. :~))
The best bit was that people still habitually turned the normal direction
into a roundabout in the UK ie left, so you could go right and get a
shortcut from it....
There is also one on the Staines side of Heathrow airport too.....
It requires a tight turning circle though...
