    Rosbif,

A few of us in ROAV have an interest in acquiring an antique Rover Motorcycle.
We just bid on one in OZ, but failed to get it, a 1914 model. We think it
would be a great club project to restore it, then display it at the annual
    MAR.
I'll bet you may know of sources for early teens Rover bikes, as I understand
they surface occasionally in the UK and sell for @ 1000 to 1500 pounds. Keep
your eyes/ears open and let me know if you learn of one. A club member is
shipping a container from Keith Gott's within the next 60 days, which would be
perfect for transporting a bike to the US. Do some poking about for us, could
you? (Haven't got 1 or 2 in that shed, have you?)

Secondly, what did you think of Steve Hoare's MAR article in the April LRM?
Of course, we here at ROAV don't think it holds a candle to your "notes from
Virginia" '01 coverage...so Puleeeease come back.

Tidbit: At the annual ROAV meeting 3/15, new officers were elected by the
    Board of Directors...
Robert Davis, Pres., Nancy McCaig, VP, Cristina Whitaker, Sec. & Mary Sanders,
    Treas.

Oh, I know you can stand the bandwidth, so enclosed are pics of the newest
addition to the family...the latest in Land Rover accessories! (rescued 3/11
from local dog pound, literally days before being euthanised, Tanner is a 1.5
yr. old neutered male American Pit Bull / Akita mix weighing in at 62 lbs.,
and is the smartest, sweetest dog I've owned...and naturally loves riding in
    the back of the RR)
(Abbey, my 15 yr. old cat demanded this, as equal time..."Get rid of that
    stinkin' mutt!!!")

    Cheers,

    Froggy

PS Know where I can find a complete A/C kit for my '72 RR (I still kick myself
for not gettin the one I saw w/you at Billing '00, for 400 pounds), and a good
roll bar/cage that can be used on my 88, both w/ tilt/sticks and
    hardtop??...(Betaweld is gone, right?)...I'm looking...
