I own a '73 NAS Series III with low mileage. It has not had the head
conversion and I rarely use it other than around town at our second home
in Manchester Vermont. I've been thinking about installing the
Roverdrive as I'd like to drive the vehicle down home to NJ from time to
time. Does anyone have experience or impressions now that its been
around for about a year? I searched the archives and only found stuff
from about the time I think it was introduced.
I would like to know whether any cutting of the truck is involved with
installation or whether it is a bolt in unit. I am hopeful that the
knob would sprout out of that cover that has two screws on the front of
the seat box. I visited the Rocky Mountain site, but it was unclear to
me how it fits in, but then again, no rocket scientist am I.
And finally, where was the purchase made - from Rocky Mountain directly
or from a third-party vendor - e.g. RN?
Thanks,
Kurt Krauss
