    just finished working on the wife's 73 ser III. had to free up the trans
    shaft so that 4 hi would work. there were nuts and bolts that nothing fit
    and i've got english, metric, and whitworth, all snap-on. it's bad enough
    working outside in 24" of snow let alone three trips to the tool box for
    each fastener. yesterday was 8 hours outside replacing the rear diff. and rr
    wheel bearings and trying to flush out the housing to get rid of the swarf
    left behind by all of the ring gear bolts shearing. trying to get 90 wt. to
    flow at 25f. is a tedious job. up untill today the 58 serI was our only car
    running. now if i can fix the wiring gremlins in the diesel benz we will be
    back to normal. maybe cresent wrenches aren't such a bad thing after all.
