AlumaWeld (AKA, LumiWweld and perhaps a dozen other monikers) is amazing
stuff. Developed by NASA for bonding dissimilar, non-ferrous metals, it
flows at something like 750F, yet it hardens to something like Rockwell C55
or 60. That makes filing or sanding damn difficult....
