Yeah, sorry if I over-reacted. We get about 20 of the Nigerian 419 emails a day, so we know
the drill. BTW, maybe this is an opportunity to implement something we've been doing on
the za-lro and the overland lists for a few years now... One of the guys sits on a big, fat pipe,
so whenever we get particularly annoyed by the scammer we send our mate the mail and he
replies to the guy with a multiple copies of a large mail. The scammer's mailbox overflows,
and his service provider pulls the plug on him. Of course the scammer is using a freemail
address, so he just recreates a new address and starts over. Our theory is that if we make
his life busy enough he'll find something constructive to do with his life (like pimping his
mother and his sisters).

Lonn, you can pick up a good condition mid-80's 110 for anything from USD3500 (diesel will
be slightly more). In fact a good series truck will often fetch more than an early 110. Series
shorties will go for up to USD5300 (obviously in mint condition). Classic Rangies from about
USD2350.
Generally speaking the modifications don't add to the value. In fact a mate who buys and
sells Landys and Cruisers automatically strips most of the kit off before offering a vehicle for
sale. Vehicle kit is incredibly cheap down here.
