Yes. Those numbers refer to the number of tire/wheel revs per mile...since a 15" stock tire/wheel has a shorter/smaller rolling diameter, it must turn more revs per mile (1408) compared to the 16".

installed!). One has in small print 1376 along the bottom of the dial. The
other has 1408. I remember reading that these numbers signify the
