Here in the Northern Monterey bay area we are awaiting the skies to
burst open at any moment with heavy rain into Sunday.

Yesterday the 90 wt got checked and the brakes adjusted. This morning
after I got the turkey in the oven, I loaded the roof rack and got a
tarp over it so I will not have to do it in the rain.

Soon it will be off to join a bunch of other crazy Land Rover folk who
will on the trail in the mojave desert over New Years.

The plan is some replacement recovery gear just before I leave. I'm
sure the Green Rover will be pleased to see it.

And as our friends in the UK tend to say

    Happy Christmas to all!
