Good point! -the other place where these little wonders have come in handy
are to do a rough & temporary tire rebalance when a lead weight has fallen
off the rim. I've had a dozen of these stay put on a rim at highway speeds,
so in Dave's case, I suppose you could get several stuck on the flywheel &
end up cursing me & my silly suggestions as your truck shakes.
BTW, since I have a drawer full of these magnets, I do stick one on the
*outside* of all of my oil sumps, automatic tranny sumps, diffs, etc. If I
can get the magnet on the fill plug, it works even better because the
magnetic shavings come out with the plug at each fluid change.
