I've insured series trucks in several states with several carriers,
and have never had one refuse to write a liability policy, though
I've had quotes that were obscene. I did have to get an agent call
the underwriter a couple times, and had to do a fair amount of
insisting that yes really my serial number doesn't have 17 digits.
For collision and comprehensive, they're likely to want a
professional appraisal due to the age.
