I think it was Oscar Wilde who commented that Americans and British are "Two
nations separated by a common language."

I have attached a mechanic's terminology guide, harvested from an early 1960's
Rover of North America document. It is quite interesting to see how the
structure has evolved and intertwined over the last 40 years.
