I've seen several and have talked with a few guys who have them. I've
heard nothing of warpage severe enough to be an issue and the benefits
seem to me to be so big I'd do it, especially if I lived in a salty
environment. The only warpage I've ever seen on a galvy bulhead involved
a flat panel on what I think was a SII bulkhead. It was what I call a
"waffle" similar to what I have on the flat panel next to the license
plate on my volvo 740: a shallow bow in a flat penel that can be popped
in or out. I've never seen one or heard first hand (emphasis on the
first hand bit) about one warped so badly there was a structural issue.
Timm Cooper has done a few and I've never heard him speak of warpage
being anything more than an irritant.
