My slider mounts were fabricated by Jared Silbersher. His
self-imposed standard was that we should be able to lift the truck on
the sliders. (And we'll be attaching shackle points to them one of
these days so you could do just that.)
Jared chose stainless steel as the material--and thought that I
should have had him fabricate sliders from that material as well. ;-)
The mounts surround to the outrigger "crossmembers" on three sides
1/2" grade 8 pins hold the "collars" in place. I'll try to take some
digital photos tomorrow to illustrate what I'm talking about.
