I've removed the series fuel pump a number of times in over 20 years of
ownership and I don't remember it being a big deal. There are always
bolts you can not get a socket on. There are always bolts that you get a
flat turn, turn the wrench over and get another flat turn...
But I just don't remember it being that bad. But last time I did it was
in 1998 at Greek Peak NY., so it has been a while.
