Hi all,
I am still searching for a perfect engine to repower my older 110 v8.
Anybody owned an 81-85 GM 4.3 diesel?
Apparently it's the 2/3 of the Olds 5.7 diesel, BUT it has 6 bolts per hole
(and bigger thread), which supposedly fixed the blown gasket problem. Also it
has bigger mains. Seems it would be a perfect fit for the 110... and room to
spare for aux compressors of all sorts.. :) And prob cheaper and lighter
than the 4BT..
