Yes and no, but mostly no. I use macs and prefer mov, sometimes mpg. It's
a compatibility issue really. Most codecs are written for separate formats,
but most players ie Quicktime, Mediaplayer etc will play most if not all
codecs.
Just play around with the settings, have some fun with it. You just need to
think that each frame is length times height times 8 bytes. Multiply that
by the number of fps and wow, you see hoe files get so huge.
