Todd,
Recently our club took a tour of the local Spicer shop and found that for
relatively little money they would install new u-joints and balance the
driveshaft. The balancing made a big difference reducing the vibration in my
'58 Healey where the driveshaft is a third the length of the Landrovers'.
Haven't done it on my 109SW yet but I am sure it will make a difference at
speed...so to speak!!
